In an effort to support the newest DHL version, we are discontinuing maintenance for the DHL Shipping Plugin. We recommend switching to the REST API, which we continue to maintain and support.

EOM/EOL: Deprecation of PayPal Plugin Version 5.x

We are ending maintenance for PayPal Plugin version 5.x as it runs on the deprecated PayPal API v1. We recommend upgrading to version 6.x for improved stability, PayPal Checkout, and Alternative Payment Methods (APM).
EOL: Ticket System Discontinuation & Migration to Messenger
We are announcing the end of maintenance and support for the ticket system, with its complete migration to the Messenger by March 2025. The Messenger has been fully functional for several months, offering the same capabilities as the ticket system along with enhanced automation options for quicker customer responses. After the migration, the ticket system will be available in read-only mode for 7 days before its final shutdown. Users of the ticket system will have options to migrate their data either on scheduled dates or request earlier migrations.

The support and management of mailbox.org mailboxes through plentysystems AG will be discontinued per 31/03/2025. You have the option to transfer the management and payment directly to mailbox.org at no additional costs.
Removal of Email queue respository summary
The log entry providing a summary of errors during the daily email dispatch, will need to be removed for performance optimization. To still receive these error logs alternative settings are required.
EOL: End of Support for Gravatar
On the 30th September 2024 the support of Gravatar will be discontinued. If you use Gravatar to display your profile picture in plentysystems, you won’t be able to do so as of October 1st, 2024.
EOL: Gradual discontinuation of old document templates starting 12/02/2025
The DocumentBuilder will soon replace the old document templates. The changeover will take place in two groups of document types with EOL dates for stable systems in February and March 2025. We recommend that you start switching now. In addition to the required document templates, event procedures and processes may need to be adjusted slightly.
New Plugin by Heista for Shipment with UPS

The parcel service provider UPS has announced a technology change concerning their API interface. With their new plugin, our partner agency Heista GmbH enables the usage of the new REST-API for shipping with UPS.
EOL: Deactivation of voelkner Plugin on 31/01/2025
The new native voelkner integration is in place, rendering the plugin obsolete. Therefore, it will be discontinued end of January 2025 - be sure to switch to the new integration now.
EOM: End of Maintenance for Old Document Templates on 22/07/2024
From 22 July 2024, we will no longer maintain or support the old document templates or the old document generation logic. We therefore recommend that you switch to DocumentBuilder.
