New Options for Sorting of Payment Methods in Shop

We're excited to introduce a new dedicated feature to help you manage how payment methods are displayed in your shop: the 'Arrange Payment Method menu'.

You can find this new option for each of your clients under Setup » Shop » (Select Client) » Arrange payment method.

Here's how it works

• You can now assign a Sorting priority for each payment method or multiple payment methods via group function. (range 0 - 999)

• The payment methods with higher priority value will be on top

• If you select the same priority value for multiple methods, the payment method registered in the Plenty system first will be displayed above the others.

• The default setting is 0, which will arrange payment methods by their original registration order.

• This menu does not affect the visibility of eligible payment methods for plentyShop LTS nor Shop.  

⚠️  Important: With the deploy of this feature the work around using the plugin priority in a plugin set for a sorting will not work anymore! If you want to sort payment methods in your shop, you need to use the new functionality.

This feature is already available on all beta systems and will be released to all stable systems on  11 Februar 2026.
