GLS Core Integration: Beta Completed and Ready for Your Orders
We are excited to announce that the GLS Core Integration has moved out of the open beta phase and is now a stable, fully operational solution, based on the latest GLS API interface, ready for your shipping needs.
A core integration is a connection directly integrated into the PlentyONE system. This means that you no longer need to install and manage an additional plugin to use this functionality.
Using our new Integration, you can handle everything from shipment label creation to returns, including checkout optimisation with Out-of-Home Delivery Points.

Here's how to get started
After logging in,
-
Open the menu item {your e-mail address}/Apps
-
Click on + NEW APP
-
Define an app name and select Enable or Request for Authentication API v2 and ShipIT-Farm API v1
-
For automatic transfer of customs data to GLS, click Enable or Request for Customs API v3
-
If you want to create return labels, also select Enable or Request for Shop Returns Customer Plus API v3
-
Save your settings by clicking on SAVE.
Now get in touch with your GLS contact person and inform them that you would like to use GLS via PlentyONE and require access authorisations for (1) the GLS ShipIT Farm API, (2) the Customs API, and, if applicable, (3) the Shop Returns Customer Plus API.
Indicate the team e-mail address used and the generated App ID from the GLS Developer Portal, as well as your GLS Contact-ID.
GLS is working on making access easier and faster in the future. Until then, please be patient during the approval process. The Customs API and the Shop Returns API only need to be requested if customs or returns parcels are being sent.
