DHL Retoure Online now integrated into PlentyONE Core // Plugin to be discontinued per 31 May 2026
We are excited to announce that DHL Retoure Online is now a core integration within PlentyONE. By transitioning to the modern DHL Retoure Online REST API, we are streamlining your configuration process and ensuring a more stable, future-proof shipping environment.
Here's what's new
We have consolidated DHL DE products into a single menu to simplify your workflow. You can find the new settings under:

Key improvements at a glance

Centralized Account Management: Simply select existing accounts from your DHL Basic Settings.

Granular Control: You can now set the validity of labels and data transmission preferences (email/phone) individually per configuration, rather than globally.

Simplified Receiver IDs: We have combined Country and Referrer settings into a single view for better oversight.

Modern Automation: Return registrations are now available as Flow actions ("Register return with DHL"). Additionally, to handle DHL Retoure Online registration error, a Trigger can be selected to start your Flow.

⚠️ Action Required: End-of-Life (EOL) for DHL Retoure Online Plugin
The legacy DHL Retoure Online Plugin is reaching its End-of-Life on 31st May 2026 - the day that the underlying DHL Retoure Online API version the plugin uses will be deprecated.
You must switch to and configure the new core integration before this date to continue using DHL Retoure Online.
Due to structural changes, we are unable to migrate existing configurations from the old Plugin to the new core integration. You will need to set up the configurations again in the new menu path. For automations you need to create a Flow.
We are also discontinuing the separate feature for generating DHL RETOURE enclosed return labels used for Germany. This is because DHL now requires shipment information for a valid label, which our existing internal generation does not provide, as it does not connect to any DHL API.
We recommend using the returns registration available the new DHL Retoure Online solution.
Outlook
We aren't stopping here. We are already planning the implementation of the "DHL Retoure" service for both DHL Paket and DHL Kleinpaket and the import of receiver IDs to make the configuration easier by avoiding typos or copy & paste errors.
