Here's your first overview of our targeted investments in seamless marketplace integrations and resilient processes. Rather than fine-tuning around the edges, we at PlentyONE are focusing on the fundamental pillars that will make a real difference to your daily operations: stronger transparency, autonomous data control, automated data inheritance for listings, and faster error handling.
What we started with Amazon, we're now driving forward consistently. The core themes remain the same: better visibility into data transfers, more direct control over data exchange, and faster listing setup. We're actively rolling out these improvements across the other key marketplaces in your portfolio.
When a price doesn't go through or a listing fails to update, troubleshooting today is often tedious. We're building export logs for OTTO Market, Kaufland, and Zalando so you can see exactly when which data was transferred – directly at item level. No more guesswork. No more support tickets as a first step.
Previously, when mapping marketplace fields to system fields, it was unclear whether the correct values were being transferred – you only found out if everything was correct once the listing went live. We’re adding preview values to the catalogue so that you can see what’s actually being transmitted as soon as you map the fields – based on a real variation of your choice. No more guesswork, no unexpected listing errors.
Until now, data exchange ran exclusively on a scheduled basis in the background. If you were waiting on a price update or a stock sync, there was no way to trigger it yourself. That changes now: with self-service data exchange, you initiate product and inventory updates directly from within the system – exactly when you need them, without waiting for the next background process to run.
Channel Maps dramatically speed up the mapping of PlentyONE values to marketplace fields. You define shared fields such as name, SKU, or weight once – and they automatically inherit across all linked category-specific catalogues. We're now bringing this feature to OBI – together with the release of the product listing – and CDiscount as well.
Error messages that don't signal a clear course of action waste valuable time and create uncertainty. That's why we're fundamentally reworking error handling for CDiscount. Messages become more precise, context becomes clearer – so you know immediately what to do, instead of having to search for answers first.
Your feedback over recent months has been clear: you don't need abstract promises – you need a system that delivers without compromise in the realities of everyday e-commerce. The initiatives above are our commitment to giving you back the reliability, control, and speed you need to grow.
In short: we're investing in software that works for you – not the other way around.
Good news: no manual configuration required – features activate automatically.
We're rolling out the new features gradually in the background and will proactively notify you as soon as new functionality goes live. Open your active channel configurations in PlentyONE: the new analytics and diagnostics tools and interfaces appear automatically in your respective integration settings as each feature launches.
Thank you for your trust in the PlentyONE team.
We look forward to taking the next steps in multichannel commerce side by side with you.
