Released: eMAG Order Import via Callback-URL
We are pleased to announce an important update to our eMAG integration: the implementation of a callback URL for order import. Currently, orders are imported into the merchant system at a certain interval under cron control. With the callback URL, which is stored in the eMAG backend, orders can be transferred directly from eMAG to plentysystems. This brings a considerable time advantage for the processing of orders, as these now land in the system immediately after they are created on the marketplace.
In addition to the order import via the callback URL, however, the cron-controlled order import remains in place as a fallback method to ensure that every order finds its way into the system.
To use this new feature, proceed as follows:
Open the menu Setup»Markets»eMAG in your plentymarkets system
Now click on the account for which you want to store the callback URL
In the overview of the account settings within the configuration tile, you will find the callback URL under Order import callback URL. You must now copy the displayed URL.
You store the copied URL in your eMAG backend. You can find the corresponding setting in the eMAG backend under My account»Profile»Technical Details within the Order callback URL input field
