New in PlentyONE Messenger: Elevate Your Customer Service with AI-Powered Tools

We have expanded the PlentyONE Messenger with features designed to take some tedious routines off your hands in daily customer support. From now on, you can use AI to support your communication with your customers directly within your existing Messenger interface.

Efficient customer service that speaks every language

These are the new AI-powered features:

  • Translate texts with AI: Translate incoming messages or your own drafts with just one click. This helps you handle international enquiries without language barriers.
  • Summarise histories with AI: For long ticket histories, the AI creates a short summary. You are immediately up to speed without having to read the entire history.
  • Optimise responses with AI: Adjust and refine your existing drafts with AI-generated suggestions at the click of a button:
    • Expand: Turn bullet points into a fully formulated response.
    • Shorten: Get straight to the point with precise, condensed text.
    • Change tone: Adjust your message at the touch of a button to sound either friendlier or more formal.

The AI features are exclusively included in the PlentyONE plans (Lite, Lite+, Expand, Scale, Ultimate) as well as the old "plentyONE" contract.

How to get started with the AI features in Messenger

      1. In your system, navigate to Setup » CRM » Messenger » General.
      2. Toggle the Consent to the use of AI Tools for the Messenger.
      3. Open a conversation at CRM » Messenger.

Now, the functionalities are  available to you directly within every Messenger conversation. Details on the new features can be found in our user manual.

Security and the use of AI

For data protection reasons, you will be asked for consent upon initial input. This is required so that the AI assistant can access system-specific data and answer corresponding questions.

For the AI functions, we use GDPR-compliant models via AWS (server location: Germany/EU).

Your control matters: Even though AI is a powerful assistant, it serves as support and does not replace human judgement. The responsibility for the accuracy of content and data protection remains with you – therefore, always briefly check AI results and AI texts before using or sending them.
