To test new configurations or design adjustments, you need an exact replica of your shop where you can experiment without worry. The new duplication functionality gives you exactly this freedom. It allows you to create a test environment that mirrors your live shop perfectly, enabling you to make any changes without affecting your active version.
With the "Copy shop" feature, you can duplicate your live instance, including all settings and content, with just a few clicks. This means you no longer need to tediously recreate changes in multiple environments, but create a secure "sandbox" for testing without risking errors in live operations.
The flexible architecture of the shop system allows you to run two shop environments per client simultaneously – an active live shop and a staging environment. The new copy functionality supports both the default theme and existing integrations of your individual code, ensuring that your test and productive environments always remain consistent.
The feature is available in your system immediately. To duplicate your existing shop, navigate to the administration area (Shop » Shop Management) and select "Copy shop" from the three-dot menu of the corresponding shop instance.
