Contact creation in plentyPOS

You can now create a new contact when ringing up customers in plentyPOS. The contact created in plentyPOS will be automatically assigned to the current POS order and also be saved in the plentysystems back end. After you’ve finished ringing up the customer, the default customer will be preselected for the next order.

Proceed as described below to create a new contact:

  1. In the POS shopping cart, tap on the contact symbol at the bottom of the screen→ The data of the default customer or the currently selected contact are displayed.

  2. Tap on the plus symbol.→ The Create new contact view opens.

  3. Enter the data for the new contact.

  4. Tap on Save.→ The newly created contact is automatically selected.

  5. If items have already been added to the POS shopping card, the query „Update prices?“ Is displayed. If you select „Yes“, the discounts that apply for the customer class of the selected contact are applied on all items of the order.6.Tip:* If needed, click on the reset symbol to switch back to the default customer.

  6. In the upper right corner, tap on X or on the area outside the window to return to the POS shopping cart.→ The selected contact is displayed within the POS shopping cart.

  7. Continue to process the order as usual.→ After you’ve finished the POS order, the default customer is automatically preselected for the next order.
