Enabling AI features in your PlentyONE system shouldn't leave you wrestling with inconsistent settings menus or make it difficult to keep track of which AI features are active.
Previously, you had to give your consent individually for each newly released AI feature. This fragmented process made it hard for administrators (admins) to maintain an overview of active data streams – and delayed the setup and use of time-saving features across your team. With this update, we're removing these obstacles and giving you back full control.
One place for all AI consents
From now on, PlentyONE consolidates all AI feature consents in a single, dedicated settings area. Admins get a complete, real-time overview of all active AI features across the entire system – compliance gaps are a thing of the past.
Manage compliance gaps:
- Central overview: Manage all AI feature consents in a single view, without having to navigate through separate menus and approvals.
- Flexible activation: Decide for yourself which areas benefit most from AI support: enable the Basic AI Assistant for general help and documentation, or unlock deeper system insights with the Advanced AI Features – such as automatic drafts in Messenger, product descriptions, or mapping suggestions in the catalogue.
- Role-based security: Enabled AI features always respect existing user permissions. No AI feature will access data or carry out actions that the relevant team member is not authorised to perform.
- Instant activation: Once consent has been given, you can enable individual features for authorised team members straight away and switch individual AI features on or off at any time – all in one click.

Here's how to enable AI features in your system:
- Navigate to your system settings.
- Open the AI Settings area.
- Review the terms and tick the Admin Confirmation checkbox.
- Enable the desired toggles – for example for the Advanced AI Assistant, Messenger, or product descriptions – to make the features available to authorised team members immediately.
