ABOUT YOU: Expanded Integration Including Product Creation in Closed Beta

The next iteration of features of our ABOUT YOU integration are shipped into the ongoing closed beta.

While our initial release established reliable offer and order synchronization, we are now testing full product creation directly within PlentyONE. This phase will remain closed to a selected group of participants until at least the end of March to ensure maximum stability before a broader release.

Testing End-to-end Product Lifecycle

Our objective is to provide a robust, end-to-end flow, from initial item creation at ABOUT YOU to final return. By leveraging advanced mapping logic and automation, we simplify how you engage with the ABOUT YOU ecosystem. Every step is now part of a single, cohesive flow designed to accelerate your time-to-market.

Advanced Mapping and Control

The integration uses our new mapping logic:

• Efficient Channel Mapping: Create central Channel Maps for attributes and link them to multiple categories. Catalogues inherit all mapped data automatically.
• Unified Listings: Create product and offer listings once to cover Germany and Austria simultaneously.
• Granular Availability: Manage item availability directly at the listing level for precise stock control.

Comprehensive Order Management & Automated Workflows

The integration now covers the full order flow —imports, cancellations, shipments, and returns—for all supported countries. Additionally, you can use Flows in PlentyONE to automate your ABOUT YOU processes, reducing manual intervention and increasing reliability.

Next Steps and Future Release

During this final testing phase, we are gathering feedback from our current participants to refine the stability and performance of the product creation tools. Following the successful completion of this cycle, we will prepare for a broader release to make these features available to all sellers. We are aiming to open the beta by mid-April to ensure more sellers can benefit from this new integration.
